Rocker switch control THPG Bakelite with glow lamp
Rocker switch with durable brass switching mechanism and solid screw contacts. The central insert and the rocker are made of Bakelite and the base body is made of steatite, a proven ceramic material.
Here in the version as control switch. The control switch indicates that the circuit is closed (and therefore that the light is switched on) by illuminating a small glow lamp. The glow lamp is placed in the opening for the lower fixing screw of the central insert.

More details
Easy to operate. Well proportioned. Solid.
From a historical perspective, toggle and rocker switches are the direct ‘successors’ to the tried and tested rotary switches. They have a simpler design and are particularly easy to operate - even with your elbow if necessary when your hands are full. Our models stand out from today's conventional ‘surface switches’ with their oversized rockers thanks to their attractive proportions, classic materials and durable switching mechanism. Our switches are also characterised by tried-and-tested screw contacts and a steatite base body.
Covers & Combinations
All switches, push-buttons and sockets are supplied without outer coverings!
Both round and square single and system coverings are available, as well as square multiple coverings. These can be combined with all switches, push-buttons and sockets from the switch system Bakelite.
All coverings can be used in existing installations without any problems, as they have been developed according to the standard spacings. The Bakelite switch system fits in all standard flush-mounted boxes; only for the installation of data sockets, flush-mounted boxes with an increased volume are recommended.
The Bakelite switch system is compatible with the Duroplast switch system and with the coverings of the White Glass switch system. Since the Porcelain switch systems are of a different height, they are not compatible.
