Grip sleeve THPG door handle kit laminated densified wood (1 pair)

This grip sleeve for our door handle kit is made of laminated densified wood, or more precisely, red beech veneers, which have been bonded together with hardenable synthetic resins (a type of Duroplast) under high pressure and high temperature. This material has been used for more than 100 years as a high-performance insulation material in oil-filled power transformers (today under the trademark Lignostone®) and has the corresponding properties: high electrical insulation capacity and high mechanical strength, resistance to mild acids and alkalis. It is corrosion-resistant and anti-magnetic.
