We have made a name for ourselves by knowing exactly where every component, no matter how small, comes from and how it was manufactured. But even we reach our limits from time to time and then have to admit with resignation: Some parts are no longer produced in Europe - let alone in Germany. Magnets are one such case. If you actually manage to find out where they come from, you read or hear exotic names. That's why we honestly admit: The magnets come from Asia or other far-away parts of the world - but at least the exterior surrounding them comes entirely from Germany.
