LISILUX luminaires from Lindner

In 2011, we purchased this famous lighting range, along with the tools, original molds, and trademark rights, from a French corporation, where it had recently been somewhat neglected. Since then, we have had these classic functional lights, which have been in production since the 1940s, manufactured in Poland by a German technical porcelain manufacturer using the original tools. For decades, the designs have been regarded as examples of the design reliability of German industrial design in the first half of the 20th century.
The brand name "LISILUX," introduced by Lindner in the late 1960s for the only slightly modified range, stands for "Lindner Safety Light." It refers to the particular material strength of the porcelain bases and the sturdy glass domes, which reliably protect the light source from environmental influences. Porcelain and glass have proven themselves not only in damp rooms (sauna lights), but also as ideal protection against aggressive, sometimes corrosive air mixtures. They are not prone to corrosion, and the smooth, hard surfaces can be cleaned easily even after many years. LISILUX is a functional light in the best sense of the word.
