Furniture wax Renuwell
Natural moisture protection and long-lasting care. From Switzerland.
Unlike the wood butter, the furniture wax from the Swiss company Renuwell is not food-safe and is therefore intended primarily for ‘technical’ applications – that is, where moisture protection and nourishment take priority over digestibility. But even the furniture wax, with its natural beeswax and carnauba wax content, is so harmless that it meets the DIN EN 71-3 and DIN 53160 standard, making it suitable for children's toys and resistant to saliva and sweat. However, it is better used to refresh wood (but also stone, metal, smooth leather and parquet) that does not come into direct contact with food than to nourish your skin. Untreated surfaces will become slightly darker and be protected from moisture and drying out. To use, apply a thin layer of wax to the surface (for example with a pure linen polishing cloth) and then allow it to dry completely. Then polish it a little and it's done.
