More details
New originals. Spring-loaded mechanism & screw contacts.
Rotary switches are the original switch design and have been successfully used since the beginning of electrification in the late 19th century. Like the originals from that time, our models have a base body made of steatite, solid screw contacts and a durable spring-loaded mechanism that reliably prevents the formation of material-damaging electric arcs and flying sparks – and, as an added benefit, confirms the switching operation with the typical ‘click’ of a real rotary switch. These are modern classics that bring the sober functional reliability and simple design language of the past into the present day.
Covers & Combinations
All switches, push-buttons and sockets are supplied without outer coverings!
Both round and square single and system coverings are available, as well as square multiple coverings. These can be combined with all switches, push-buttons and sockets from the switch system Duroplast.
All coverings can be used in existing installations without any problems, as they have been developed according to the standard spacings. The Duroplast switch system fits in all standard flush-mounted boxes; only for the installation of data sockets, flush-mounted boxes with an increased volume are recommended.
The Duroplast switch system is compatible with the Bakelite switch system and with the coverings of the white glass switch system. Since the Porcelain switch systems are of a different height, they are not compatible.
