Rotary switch two-pole THPG Duroplast
There are two useful applications for the 2-pole rotary switch. The first is switching two contacts inside it, thereby allowing two separate circuits to be switched simultaneously. The second application is when you want to completely disconnect a circuit by connecting the phase and the neutral. One good reason for separating a circuit from the rest of the building’s electrical system would be to make a particular area current-free and thus free of radiation from electrical lines.

More details
New originals. Spring-loaded mechanism & screw contacts.
Rotary switches are the original switch design and have been successfully used since the beginning of electrification in the late 19th century. Like the originals from that time, our models have a base body made of steatite, solid screw contacts and a durable spring-loaded mechanism that reliably prevents the formation of material-damaging electric arcs and flying sparks – and, as an added benefit, confirms the switching operation with the typical ‘click’ of a real rotary switch. These are modern classics that bring the sober functional reliability and simple design language of the past into the present day.
Covers & Combinations
Covers and combination options.
All switches and sockets are supplied without external cover!
The switches and sockets can be combined with the various covers of the series and thus used in a wide variety of configurations. For the inserts of the black switch series made of Bakelite® round and square single covers, round system covers and square double, triple and quadruple covers are available. You can combine all switches and sockets of the Bakelit® switch series with these covers. The system and multiple covers can be used on existing installations without any problems, as they have been developed in accordance with the standard clearances. The Bakelit® switch range fits into all standard flush-mounted boxes.
The Bakelit® switch range is also compatible with the thermoset switch range and the covers of the glass switch range. Since the porcelain switch series is built up differently in height, this is not compatible.
