Design Hotel Vosteen
Switch series in porcelain and Duroplast.
| Location: | Nuremberg |
| Founded | 1954 |
| Special features: | In the original style of the 1950s |
| Owner: | Christina Summerer |
At the Hotel Vosteen, owner Christina Summerer has preserved the lifestyle and style of the 1950s in the most authentic way possible on three floors in the immediate vicinity of Nuremberg's historic old town – using our switch series made of Duroplast and porcelain, among other things. When the hotel was founded, these two "earthbound" materials were still widely used and were only gradually replaced in everyday life by thermoplastics. Anyone who wants to see for themselves the aesthetic (and functional) added value that porcelain and Duroplast still offer in electrical engineering applications today can do so in the charming atmosphere of the Hotel Vosteen, for example from the richly laid breakfast table.

"The Design Hotel Vosteen has been welcoming guests from all over the world since 1954. After the complete renovation in 2005, I needed historically authentic switches that were state-of-the-art, because it was essential to preserve the original flair of the hotel. I was therefore very grateful when my electrician found these beautiful switches made of porcelain and Duroplast, which allow our guests to be transported back to the "good old days" even more effectively. Starting with the lobby, through the breakfast room to the staircase, all rooms in the Vosteen are equipped with them and I am very proud of them. Our guests are delighted with the "attention to detail" that is evident in every corner of the hotel. I can only recommend such an investment for vintage houses." – Owner Christina Summerer
