Bakelite® and duroplast switch systems
This manorial farmstead consisting of three sections is a listed building. The oldest parts of the structure date from the 13th century, and the most recent are from the second half of the 18th century. The restoration work lasted a decade, with particular emphasis being placed on preserving or reconstructing historic design details, color schemes and furnishings. This allowed many parts of the buildings to be restored in the original style. However, as the property also comprises modern apartments and a store, it needed a high level of technical systems and services. Since there were no examples of such design from the construction period, the obvious solution was to choose switches and outlets that hark back to the original era in terms of their materiality and aesthetics.

"Gemminger Hof in Bad Wimpfen is a listed ensemble of buildings from the 18th century. The buildings were carefully renovated, restored where possible and converted into apartments. The preservation of historical details was of paramount importance to the owner. The switches and outlet systems made by Thomas Hoof Produktgesellschaft fitted in superbly. Their classic materiality and historical design, combined with their modern function and their durability and high quality, won us over and also met the high standards of the owner. They are also great value for money. The products we selected fit perfectly into the old buildings and help give them the air of yesteryear."
