When - as in this case - the architect is also the owner, there is consensus right from the start. Felix Küch was able to rebuild and carefully restore this listed villa in Bad Arolsen, North Hesse, entirely as he wished between 2018 and 2020. He placed particular importance on not concealing the conditions of the time of construction, the history of the building and the structural work performed on the property since it was built in 1910. On the contrary, his aim was to bring all these things to life again. Our porcelain switch system was the perfect choice to highlight the conditions of the era in which the urban villa was built. But appearance alone is not enough. As an architect, Felix Küch pays equally close attention to sustainability, functionality and cost-effectiveness - criteria that our porcelain switch system also meets in an exemplary way, combining high-quality, durable material and well thought-out technical design. In addition, the special properties of the ceramic materials used ensure rock-solid functionality.
