Rocker button with key symbol for the switch system Porcelain black with solid screw contacts. The central insert is made of black glazed porcelain, the rocker is made of Bakelite and the base body is made of steatite, a proven ceramic material.
Rocker buttons are particularly suitable for operating bells and door openers, and in conjunction with a relay, they can also be used for stairwell lighting. Rocker buttons with corresponding symbols on the rocker are also available, as are luminescent models.

rocker buttons differ from rocker switches in that the circuit does not remain closed after activation, but automatically reopens as soon as pressure on the rocker is released. This is due to a spring that returns the rocker to its original position. Rocker buttons, also known as impulse switches, are particularly suitable for operating bells and door openers, and in conjunction with a relay, also for staircase circuits.
In the models designated accordingly, an insert with phosphorescent pigments (free of radioactive substances, lead, cadmium, chromium, and the like) has been placed on the rocker. When exposed to light, these pigments charge with energy and glow reliably in the dark. This purely physical process ensures long-lasting functionality without wear and tear and makes the button easy to find even in the dark. Alternatively, we also offer models with classic glow lamps that illuminate the buttons.
All switches, push-buttons, dimmers and sockets are supplied without outer coverings!
Round single coverings, double coverings and round system coverings are available. These can be combined with all switches, push-buttons, dimmers and sockets of the switch system Porcelain.
All coverings can be used in existing installations without any problems, as they have been developed according to the standard spacings. The switch system Porcelain fits in all standard flush-mounted boxes, only for the installation of data sockets flush-mounted boxes with increased volume are recommended.
The individual parts of the switch system Porcelain are not compatible with our other switch systems.
