More details
New originals. Spring-loaded mechanism & screw contacts.
Rotary switches are the original switch design and have been successfully used since the beginning of electrification in the late 19th century. Like the originals from that time, our models have a base body made of steatite, solid screw contacts and a durable spring-loaded mechanism that reliably prevents the formation of material-damaging electric arcs and flying sparks – and, as an added benefit, confirms the switching operation with the typical ‘click’ of a real rotary switch. These are modern classics that bring the sober functional reliability and simple design language of the past into the present day.
The advantages of our switch systems at a glance
- solid, heavy quality with lavish use of materials
- sophisticated, proven materials (Bakelite®, porcelain, thermoset)
- ceramic switch systems of highest reliability
- a discreet design that is hard to resist
- full conformity with DIN and VDE regulations
Assembly note
For mounting: The internal parts are mounted and wired on the substrate, and then the housings are put on and screwed. When mounting on flammable substrates, please note that the substrate must be covered by an appropriate flame-retardant material (e.g. Pertinax). We offer a matching base plate made of black bakelite, which closes the enclosures on the back in a form-fit and standard-compliant manner.
For mounting on plaster, we offer textile-sheathed cables and matching cable clamps.
